Capybara Carnage V3

The name of the game was changed to Capybara Carnage as it suited the game plot.  For this blog,  I mainly focus more on the refining the game experience.  For example, adding a visual  and audio of the character getting hurt.

Additionally, I changed the background music, at the start from the title screen to the 1st level, the background is playing a calm fantasy music to show that the forest have a calm atmosphere. However, once you kill a baby capybara, the BGM will change to a  metal music to show the carnage has begin. 


Other than that, I moved the Nyan Cat enemies to appear later levels and create a level to introduce the Nyan Cat enemies, this is to surprise and introduce a new enemy type to the player. Additionally, the first time Nyan Cat appear, its unique BGM will play, giving more impact to the Nyan Cat appearance.

Lastly, I added knockback ability to the player kick. However, I encounter a problem, since the enemies in the game will chase the player consistently, they will keep moving towards the player's location no matter where the player is. So the kick won't be able to push the enemy away as they keep moving. I ended finding a solution is that setting a condition for when the kick projectile hits the enemy, they will stop moving for 0.5 second, and then push the enemy away depending on which side the enemy was hit.
